For 200 mg/ml, the lowest price that we have established is $1.83 per ml for 30 mls. The cost of the powder form is in the range of $2.24 to $ 3.09 per g. These prices are only estimates and may vary from one country to another. It also depends on the Acetylcysteine suppliers from which you are buying the drug. Before placing your order online, always research the B2B marketplace for the best deals.

How to take Acetylcysteine

Acetylcysteine can be taken through the oral, intravenous, and inhalation routes. For the injectable solution, the usual adult dose for the treatment of Acetaminophen overdose is 300 mg/kg. It is divided into 3 separate doses that are given over 21 hours. The dose is normally prepared based on the patient's weight. For oral administration of 20% solution for inhalation, the loading dose is 140 mg/kg body weight once. The maintenance dose is 70 mg/kg body weight given 4 hours after loading. It is given every 4 hours up to a total of 17 doses. For the mucolytic, the adult dose is usually 3 to 5 ml of 20% solution. If the solution is weaker at 19%, then the dose increases to 6 to 10 ml. It should be given 3 to 4 times daily by nebulizing into a mouthpiece, face mask, or tracheostomy. Unlike other pharmaceutical products, Acetylcysteine can be quite complex to use. Always read labels for directions on use. Self-medication is highly discouraged. Ensure that you follow your doctor's advice. Some of its side effects include bronchoconstriction, drowsiness, hemoptysis, bronchospasm, vomiting, calmness, and stomatitis. Others are fever, chest tightness, rhinorrhea, and irritation of the tracheal or bronchial tract. You should inform your doctor immediately when you experience these symptoms.
