The Pediatric Dose for treating Pharyngitis amongst children 9 months or older is 25 to 50 mg per kilogram of body weight, divided doses every 6 to 12 hours. For treating Upper Respiratory Tract Infection, Bacterial Infection, Skin and Structure Infection in kids 9 months or older is the same as above In surgical operative procedures, Cefradine is administered immediately before surgery to ensure sufficient local tissue concentrations at the time that contamination is likely to occur. This therapy continues into the postoperative period.
