Triprolidine
Triprolidine is an antihistamine medication. It relieves symptoms of allergy, hay fever, and the common flu. These allergies have symptoms likes rashes, watery eyes, itchy eyes, nose, throat, skin, cough, runny nose, sneezing and other breathing illnesses such as sinusitis, bronchitis. Triprolidine works by blocking histamine during an allergic reaction. It also blocks acetylcholine that helps dry up some body fluids to relieve symptoms such as watery eyes and runny nose.

Forms and dosage:
Triprolidine is available as an oral liquid in 0.5mg/mL and 0.625mg/mL options. In the treatment of Allergic Rhinitis, as Indicated for temporary relief of rhinorrhea, sneezing, itchy nose, throat, or eyes owing to fever or other upper respiratory allergies or allergic rhinitis, the recommended adult dose is 2.5 mg (5 mL) every 6 hours. To get relief from the symptoms of Allergic Conjunctivitis, the Usual Adult Dose is 2.5 mg taken orally every 6 hours not to exceed 10mg per day. In children, the Usual Pediatric Dose for Allergic Rhinitis in kids aged 4 months to less than 2 years is 0.310 to 0.313 mg, given orally every 6 hours not to exceed 1.25 mg per day. For kids aged 2 to 4 years old, the dose is 0.625 to 0.628 mg, for kids between 4 years and 6 years, it is 0.938 to 0.939 mg. For kids between 6-12 years old, the dose is 1.25 mg, taken orally every 6 hours and for kids older than 12 years the dose is 2.5 mg orally every 6 hours.The cost of Triprolidine
